FRATRES 2011 – South Indian Management Fest
On November 26th MCMAT gave all the upcoming managers an opportunity to show their skills, talents and competitive tactics to everyone and prove themselves that they are the best.
MCMAT has been successfully conducting FRATRES right from its inception, which was highly appreciated by all the participants during these years. FRATRES 2011 came with an innovative initiative to make the management students imagine and contribute ideas on the development of the state of Kerala – God’s own Country.
The highlight of FRATRES 2011 was the Strategic Plan Contest, FRAGMENTUM, which consists of FORMICA (Strategic Finance Game), FRAGRANTIS (Strategic Marketing Game), and FORTUNA (Strategic H.R. Game). The theme for the Strategic Plan Contest was “Blue Ocean Strategy for Branding Kerala”.
The programme was inaugurated by Shri. Sanjeev P Thomas, President, Binani Zinc Ltd. The Valedictory Function was inaugurated by Shri. Shambu Namboodiri, Managing Director, Associated Chemicals. The prizes were distributed by Shri. K.N.Shasthry, President, Kerala Management Association.
The Strategic Plan Contest was won by SNGCE College and were presented with a cash prize of Rs.12,000/- and merit certificates. The Strategic Finance Game was won by FISAT and was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- and merit certificates. The Strategic Marketing Game was won by Rajagiri College, and was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- and merit certificates. Bharata Mata College, the winners of Strategic HR Game were awarded with Rs. 5,000/- as cash prize and merit certificates.
The winning strategic plan will be submitted to the State Planning Board, Govt. of Kerala, to assist our State by sharing our dreams on development strategies.
