This program focused on the financial crisis related to the ‘sub prime’ and related global issues issues with particular emphasis on the US by Mr. George Varughese, Managing Director of Alvarez and Marsal, a global financial consulting firm based in New York. He was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston before he joined Alvarez and Marsal. From 1993 to 1995, he was a professor of finance at Indian Institute of Management at Bangalore. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Artsindia and Vellore Board USA and is a member of the Investment Committee of the private equity fund of ICICI.
